Galloping Weka talks to the Galloping Wekas – Les Wallace having a chat with Starweka , alongside Morweka and Skyweka await their turn

Galloping Weka’s Les and Janine Wallace had a great visit to Tony Pikes stables on Monday 22nd May.  Team Pike got all the horses up for them to have a look at and stable-hand Emma – pictured below with Morweka,  ensured they got a good look at the fillies before they headed off to eat their lunch.  We then had a great chat with Tony about each filly.

There will be a lot of Weka events happening over the next few weeks will all three fillies preparing to race – depending on the trace surfaces. Here’s hoping the weather will stay calm for a bit so that we can collect some of NZTR’s stakes money.
