Pennyweka

Pennyweka has been nominated as a finalist in two categories for the 2022-23 NZ Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Awards. We have a small contingent of Wekas attending the dinner including Owner Breeder Trainer of Pennyweka Jim Wallace and his family. We are very proud to have the Keeper of the Studbook Julie Walker in the ranks of the Wekas. Julie has had the best time as a member of the Pennyweka Syndicate. She will be attending the awards in her roll as Keeper of the Stud Book, but also as a Weka. John Macmillan will also be flying the Weka flag. We will be able to view the awards presentation online at a later date – more about that when info comes to hand. Below is the outline of proceedings for the event.
